I sat a maths exam in June and I got a D and I resat it this week and I honestly thought I'd pass this time but I don't think I have.

There was a 5 mark question on 2 people's wages and someone earned time and a half at the weekend and stupid me multiplied by 1/2 instead of 1.5 and I only realised what I had done after the exam

I'm really annoyed and upset and I know that wasn't the only question I messed up, there were plenty others. Everybody says don't worry about it but then they say well it's bad if you don't have a gcse in maths. Grrr I don't know what to do.

All you can do is wait until your results- if they're really bad you always have the option of resitting to improve. Use that negative energy to help yourself be more prepared for next time you take the exam, IF you even have to retake it.

It's alright to get stressed or angry about your exam, but you did try so thats better overall. Be patient for your results (I know how hard it is, it took me 2 years to pass). Everything works out in the end. Best of luck to you.
