Weird thing I found when doing A level Art is the amount of people that couldn't draw after 2yrs (out of 200 people, around 80-90 didn't improve whatsoever in terms of drawing).

I am basically as good as I was when I was a child
and when I was a child I won art competitions *all the time* - I remember in year one I won the "prize" of visiting a fire station...all of my "prizes" were trumped up like that.
now I'd be lucky to even have somebody raising an eyebrow at my artwork

Yeah, I guess so. I can tell I have improved, though I've been practising for about 10-11 years now, I would hope I was good

What kind of style of drawing do you do (e.g. realism, manga, cartoon)? I gave up on Art after A-levels
