haha, didn't expect that, we have about 13 doing F.maths.

Ive always been told I was the easiest (in comparison) then II slightly harder and III a lot harder , Might have a look at couple of step III papers if thats the case.
I believe it's because III is harder based on content but the wording of the questions and the logic behind the questions often isn't as hard as it is in II, if you get me?

Have you guys started looking at accommodation yet? Cryfield looks tempting since my maintenance loan will probably be around £3400. Only thing is that it appears to be the furthest from the maths building
I love the look of Lakeside and Heronbank but they're really far too I'm thinking Jack Martin

It is all relative. Cryfield is still easily less than a ten-minute walk from the maths block and is really good value. It is very close the Piazza but in a fairly quiet area. I would not dismiss it if keeping costs down is important. The kitchens and rooms (certainly in Cryfield 1) were refurbished this year. From what I have seen each corridor seem to socialise well together.

Predicted A2s: A*AAA, but aiming for A*A*AA (maths, FM, physics, history)
    STEP/AEA: STEP 1 and 2
Which Offer Holder day are you going to?
Not sure whether I'm going to one due to the travelling, though I'm thinking about it!! I'd have to drive and, inevitably, get myself lost
    Why did you choose Warwick?
The structure of the course mainly - I like the amount of flexibility and the choice of modules. I also loved the open day; I spoke to some really nice maths students and it gave me a real insight. The only thing that put me off a little was the accommodation (after looking around Rootes) though I recently discovered the off campus accommodation and I adore omg.

Has anybody else applied for the 2 day STEP help course thingy? I really hope I can go to that as I'm quite worried about STEP rn

I applied when I got my offer in late October haha. It scared me at first because when I applied for it it said that successful applicants will get told within 5 working days, and I didn't receive that email until two months later!!

Oooh, I should've done it then....oops. As long as I get a couple of weeks notice (if I hopefully get a place!) I should be fine. Have you done much prep yet?

Predicted A2s: A*A*AA( Maths , Further maths, Chemistry and Physics) (offer for MORSE A*AA)
STEP/AEA: I might be doing STEP 2, none of my offers require it though. I'm gonna do it for the fun of it.
Which Offer Holder day are you going to?
    Sadly, I'm international. Wish I could. 😢
    Why did you choose Warwick?
I liked the flexibility of the course as I plan to go into finance.

I might be dropping physics to focus on further maths. Do u think it's a good idea?

Doesn't your Warwick offer have an alternate that requires a 2 in STEP, would recommend you do step in case you miss out on the 3rd A*.
I would've dropped it tbh as having an extra subject will just make it harder to meet the entry requirements. but if you think you'd get it regardless , then theres really no reason to.

Yeah they do. But it would be easier to achieve the requirements without STEP (the offer for MORSE is A*AA). I'm also kinda waiting for Imperial's Decision. How's your STEP preparations going? Thanks for the Advice. Might drop it soon.

oh right, I thought you were applying for maths.
STEP is going okayish i suppose , getting around 3 full solutions and 2 halfs in about 4 hours on STEP 1 , so i need to step it up a bit.
have you done any step prep?

Wow! We've still got a couple of chapters of FP2 & M2 left and 3 of S2!! My teacher's so lovely and supportive - he'll help me when he can, but I've been the one guiding him through my solutions
We've had someone do STEP before, though they didn't talk to my teacher about it or anything I don't think. No idea what grade they got in it either...I may ask my teacher next lesson! I got the account for integralmaths today, so that'll be useful

I do exactly the same modules as you in A2 Further, but am doing FP3 as extra as well haha I have the same problem with teachers not knowing how to do it & I've got the integral maths thing too, though I haven't found anything particularly useful on it yet
