I don't have work tomorrow, none of my friends are available and I don't want to stay indoors. I really want to dance to some music with other people. And don't even really want to get drunk either xD I just want TO DANCE BABY. Without being at home on my own -_-

Yeah if you want; I've only been with other people, it gets boring after a while.

okay OP definitely don't do that, we don't want to get you raped here. Especially if you haven't been clubbing before. Not a good idea imo.

Its wrong that there is this stigma to clubbing solo. Just because you want to hear a decent DJ on a good system doesnt automatically mean your going to rape somebody. For a liberal society there is so much intolerance for really petty little things.

You can, I personally hate clubs unless its like a relaxed bar kind of club. I can't stand the dark super loud music clubs. Why don't you try a jazz bar? They're nice to just chill at even if you're alone

Just dance in your room with a youtube video playing on your laptop, featuring a group of people dancing.

    Problem solved.

Why? You might not get raped. Surely the risk is part of the fun

Personally as a female I wouldn't go clubbing alone.

At most I'd only ever go to a restaurant on my own and have done that many times. I enjoy eating and drinking wine in solitude.

As a bouncer I'd recommend you to please not go clubbing alone.

As the above user said. go to a jazz bar. Find a friend to go dancing with! Literally take up dance lessons. Or teach yourself at home. sing to someone over the internet...

Don't go clubbing alone. Girls who do that end up in such a mess and so often regret it...

It depending what you are hunting. Seals and penguins are an easy take-down, but if you're going on a bear hunt...

Anyhoo, I thought, these days, that clubs are where people go to stand around playing on their phones.

You can just blast music in your room and dance. Thats what I do.

whats the point in dancing at a club, when most of the time its chit music and people get in the way.

    semi srs.

Agree with torpidphil would not recommend going alone i don't see how fun it is going on your own and you don't know what stuff people will put in your drinks or being suggestive on the dancefloor etc, its good to have people you know there to watch over you especially when you are going home.

Me and a group of us at uni went to a nightclub in Belgium my friend chose to wear a headscarf while clubbing (she is muslim). i said to her to take it off as people may have an issue with it. She ignored my advice and we went and a group of arabic guys were watching her and whispering my friend understood a few words they were saying things like 'she should be hanged' as they werent happy that a muslim woman was in a nightclub wearing a scarf and they were on the phone calling others to the club when we were about to leave we asked one of our lecturers to escort us back to our hotel he is a well built guy and they retreated as we went out.
You could see how dangerous this situation could have got if we chose to leave ourselves or if she did.

It wouldn't even have been an issue in the 90s, there was so much E around ravers would carry on well beyond breakfast. Shame students these days are so pipe and slippers.
