    Insanely hard. For some people it might be easier, but there's no point. Only take 3 or at the most 4, like other people have said it's better to get 3/4 good grades than 5 average grades

    You only need Maths, Further Maths and Physics to study Maths at any University in the whole world. Doing Chemistry will not show your Maths ability but show that you can work hard. Most people get an offer for Maths (around 40-50%) of the interviewed students so getting 2A* will most likely get you an offer, the hard part is meeting the STEP offer and performing in the interview. Honestly with 5 A levels even if you did manage to get 5A* you'd probably fail the STEP/MAT offer and ruin your chances, especially for Maths which uses STEP mainly to filter students.
