Can anyone help? I am applying independently to do teacher training and have just noticed a mistake on my UCAS form. For the past two years I have worked in a school as a TA and HLTA but put the wrong year for start date (2015 instead of 2014). I have already sent for my references and got these back so it says I now cannot amend anything. Any ideas? Has anyone sent their form off with a mistake like this?

May be worth getting in contact with them and letting them know, I am sure they will understand that it was a genuine mistake.

Contact UCAS you mean? Can they make changes to an application that hasn't been sent so you know?

Yes I haven't paid and sent to UCAS yet but it won't let me amend anything because I have done my reference requests

Maybe you can contact UCAS or something and explain it that way to them?

Yes I will call them tomorrow but was just wanting to see if anyone had an experience with something like this. Oh well I guess I'll find out tomorrow what can be done

Are you applying as an individual or through your school/college? If you're an individual, you can call UCAS and they can sort things. If you're through a school/college, then they can send it back to you so speak to your referee.

Are you aware that the application deadline has now passed? You'll be classed as a late applicant, which means unis don't have to consider you. You should contact the unis before applying to see if they will consider you, as if they won't then you would just be wasting a choice.
