    I am looking to train to teach maths but i dont have a maths alevel or degree. I am currently an unqualified primary teacher and i teach maths on a daily basis. I tutor secondary maths to aid with gcse's. Do i stand a chance to do teacher training in mathematics?

    You'll need a degree first. Teaching is a graduate profession. You could, of course, teach secondary maths as an unqualified teacher immediately so long as you can persuade a Headteacher to appoint you.

    I would get formal qualifications - yo might be able to find someone initially to hire you but you're always going to be bottom of the heap for jobs if you're not qualified and may find yourself unable to move up/to another job
