So I am retaking an exam worth 60% of my total grade, and I got 100% in my exam worth 40% of my grade. I need 90% of the marks in total for an A*.
What % do I need in the retake exam to get this target?

This sounds like a question you'd get in a GCSE maths exam tbh

I think you need get atleast 5/6 of the marks right in your second exam to get an A*.

Instead of re-writing notes etc. DO PRACTICE EXAMS! I swear by it, you're not just regurgitating the things you know. But you want to make the examiner your friend, make their life easier and learn exam technique- they really make a difference between A and A*
