I did a HNC at college and saas funded it then I went on to uni (year 2) and saas funded that. I realised what I was doing at uni wasn't what I was wanting so I'm thinking about applying for a course at the open uni. Does anyone know if saas funds a repeated year (as I would be going into year 2) if it's for part time study?

I believe you have a certain number of years that SAAS will fund for, but I'd double check it. You'd be applying for a Part-Time Fee Grant, most likely, which usually covers full tuition fees for the year if you're eligible, so I'd look up the eligibility info on their website for that.
