    My predicted grades are awful and i want to study at my schools sixth form. They require 38 points but my predicted grades are terrible although i think i can do better.
    English: D = 4 points
    Maths: E = 3 points
    Science: E= 3 points
    Graphics:= C= 5 points
    Religous study= 4 points
    Ict: B = 6 points
    Geography: F = 2 points
    Total:28 points
    The problem is for my mock exams i have achieved grade C-A* in all my subjects..
    I dont know why but my school wouldnt use our mock exam grades on predicted grades, instead they use the grades they think i will get. My worry is if the sixth forms care about your predicted grades for them to accept you in. However for some reason some sixth forms offer you a place if your predicted grades are high. They dont seem to wait for what you get for your gcse exams. Also they have induction days literally before the gcse results.. please help

    Most places with set entry grades ask for an interview. Maybe go along and point this out to them? Then prove them wrong in the exams.

    Thanks.. i will try this out when i get my gcse grades.

    Sixth forms and colleges have leeway on enrollment days so you can always prove em wrong with getting good grades!
