Is work experience in a primary school good if i want to be a doctor in the future? Watch

    It's fine, you're in year 10! There is time to build your work experience/volunteering over the next few years if you are still interested. If you can get hospital shadowing/care home/whatever else then that would obviously be better, but if primary school is all that you can get, then that's fine.

    It is a great way to start getting involved in community service, and if you can integrate it into your personal statement when you write it, it'll surely stand out!
    Just don't forget to also do your hospital internship as that's the most crucial experience you'll need in your application.

    Try to get work experience in a hospital when you turn 17 until then it doesn't really matter.

    Yes it's fine, I applied for medicine this year and I only volunteered in a primary school (I also volunteered at a hospice but couldn't reflect much since I only started at the same time I sent off my UCAS) and I have 4 interviews, 2 from personal statement heavy uni's.

    It's all about what you learnt.
