    I may in year 8 and at before the end I have to pick my gcse what do I pick for being a midwife

    You can pick anything you want. Midwifery is all about the sciences and maths (as well as English). When you do the sciences I would suggest triple science because that is what the universities are looking for to take students on to midwifery. Look at the universities websites to see the GCSE requirements to give you an understanding as to what you need

    All in all, try your absolute hardest in every single subject that you are going to be doing for gcse. Look at the specification of the exam board that you are following for each subject which will tell you what you need to know for the exam.
