I'm not sure if you're joking or not.
If I was in America right now, I would be being 100% serious.

As it is, I actually support firearms (yes, sorry ), but think there would need to be massive systems in place to appropriately deal with it, and similarly, I think we would need police armed as a standard to help reassure the public... Do I think we'd automatically go down the route of the US with the attacks and stuff, I don't think so, but then who knows...!

If this Bill were to pass, then yes, I'd also be being 100% serious!

    Pew pew pew.
Perhaps you could add a big tax to the purchase of guns? This could increase revenue ??

Big taxes aren't really our thing. A substantial market for firearms would certainly form though, and that would be taxed the same as any other.

There is a correlation between guns and gun crime (too drunk to pull out a source but it's, like, everywhere). Everything else is ephemeral.
No **** there is a correlation between guns and gun crime, however there is no correlation between guns and crime, guns and violent crime, or guns and homicide, ergo the difference is purely in the way the crimes are committed. The simple proof that more guns don't result in more crime is evident in the fact the gun control lobby never talk about anything other than gun crime except when cheery picking cases
