    Hi

I'm interested in studying film and theatre at reading but I'm a bit confused about the course. Do you get to do practical stuff as well as theory?

    Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

Great to hear your infested in Reading! My housemate studies film and theatre and is in her third year. From what she says it's split about 60% theory and 40% practical, so you do get to do some practical bits and can even produce a film or play in your second and third year!

If you have any more questions or anything specific about the course feel free to ask!

It appears you direct and film your own theatre, film or television piece in the second and third year.
