Im not sure how old i am.

Whats my age again?

Con: being 43.
Pro: not being 44, yet.

Joke: being in my 40s, teenage girls do not want to sleep with me. So, it is just like being a teenager again.

+ I'm treated like an adult
- I'm treated like an adult when I don't want to be..

18 is when you become an adult though :yep: Expect more

+ seventeen is my favourite number
- people mistake me for 13 -_-

I liked being 17, it was one year away from being an adult so one last year of freedom!

Look like an adult but not an adult, compared to me...I don't look like an adult but I am an adult.

49 + I've experienced enough of life, both good and bad to try and pass that knowledge on to my soon to be 20 year old son.
- Having to get up in the middle of the night, every single night to pee. It leaves me so tired every day. Stiff knees and back if I either sit down for too long or stand in one position for too long. Picking up more and more mannerisms my mum used to have; when they used to be so irritating to me when I was young.

Ah that sucks :frown: I don't want to get older now

Cons - I'm 37 but still look 20 (get ID'ed all the time)

+ Allegedly an adult according to the law
- Mentally not an adult

How old are you? What's the best and worst part about being that age? You can write more than one of each if you want.

Would be interesting to see different opinions on here :yep:

+ Less likely to get ID'd but it still happens to me :colonhash:
- Nobody likes you when you're 23 :frown:

Discuss.

I'm 60. I can look back on my life and feel that I did well and that it was an interesting ride. THough I am close to retirement age, I still have new projects that inspire me. I continue to have hope I can do more. I continue to learn with passion.

I have been loved, I have loved, and had meaningful work. My kids completed me in ways that I cannot explain to anyone without children and now they are making their own mark. My marriage has been good, for the most part, and I feel my wife was the right person for me - and I hope she feels the same way. My friends are also loyal, though I have lost many along the way, too. I have regrets, but not too many. Finally, I see how much my parents gave me and I feel at peace with them.
I turned 20 today😱 it's so weird lol

worst part-
I'm no longer a teenager and have to be an adult ;(

I don't even look my age ahha

best part- I don't know yet 😂

We should behave like adults but we never lose our childlike behaviour

- Not so many responsibilities etc
- Can drive

Cons:
- Can't go out with older friends :frown:(((
- Lower wage
- A-levels are so stressful

Best:
Can finally start driving
More responsibility than a 'teenager' but less responsibility than an adult
Still slightly carefree from the stress of adult life

Worst:
It's a bit of an awkward age because you are older than school kids, but too young for university
Half of my friends are 18 so they can go out but I can't
A Levels and school in general is becoming so tiresome and unbearable tbh
Uni application 🙄

+Can be a lot more independant

-Life is much more stressful with A levels
-No longer able to use child tickets (I travel a lot so that's a problem for me)
-Not quite young enough to be an innocent child, but not quite old enough to be classed as an adult.
