    HEY,
    so ive been to see my doctor about my depression he agreed to refer me to a specialist but will only give me a letter with my diagnosis once he gets my blood test results.

    The thing is i need the letter now to give to my uni as i'm applying for extenuating circumstances
    what should i do?

    Moved over to mental health, probably best to speak to your doctor about a letter.

    As above but he should be able to write a letter anyway. So for depression he could write 'x has been experiencing low mood, lack of motivation and depression-like symptoms for x amount of time' or whatever- it's be as good but best he can do in the situation. Speak to the uni too and see what they say, they normally get bloods back pretty quickly so can't imagine it'd be that long you'd have to wait. Hope you get it sorted!
