I've been to Marrakesh, it was lovely and so beautiful, but slightly too busy for my liking, especially when in the centre of the city at the market. But I'd definitely go back
Yep, Marrakech....Zagora and Essaouria....all fantastic...in their own way.
Marrake, lovely French influence, Arabic spoken by older people but mainly French, English is also widely spoken, it is inexpensive if you stay out of the tourist area. The main strip Avenue Mohamed V. Down side they use more chicken than the whole of KFC put together, not a lot of veggies served with main meal so itt is eggs, olives, lots of bread and pastries. After a few days une egg ia an un oeuf. Similar to Tunisia but slightly more expensive. Remember it is Islam and alcohol is hard to come by apart from hotels.
