I feel like no matter how hard you try they rarely give As, I got 6 a low 6 and a solid 6, for both English Lang paper in mocks but tbh my Test was on fleek, should be at least a low A if I don't say so myself.

For each language paper there is a formula you have to get. They do harshly mark and for me I feel like it depends on the text given. Make sure you include lots of subject terminology in the language question and use mini-quotations in groups of three.
Just use practice papers and ask your teachers where you keep just missing off those marks- they'll be better than anyone as they know what your work is like and what specifically you need to improve on.
