What is the reputation of Hull, and how is it seen by employers?

I think Hull has a very good reputation with students though many think they are too lenient with grades to make up numbers, but otherwise teaching standards and the student lifestyle (student union and student friendliness) are rated very highly.

I am unsure about the universities reputation with employers though.

people like to make out that the uni is dodgy because of the city's rep. However that is not the case and the uni is a good uni that shines in courses such as drama, politics and law amongst many others.

It's a good uni. I guess it depends on your grades, and standards. But it's certainly much better than it's own standards - a uni like that shouldn't let people in with DDD. But they do.

But yeah, they're good.
