    I can do question 4 part b, but don't get where to place the vectors. Where would you plot the points a and b?

    Well, can you relate a to a vector joining 2 points on the parallelogram (possibly with a scale factor)? How about b? So where should they go on a copy of the diagram?

    Wouldn't the position b be half way from T to S ?

    I don't think so - what did you get for OS and TR?

    OA = 1/2 OS , OB = 1/4 TR

    Wouldn't that mean its half way? between T and S

    No. OB is in the same direction as TR but a quarter of its length. I don't know where you've got "half way between T and S from"... :confused:

    Ahh, I've got it now. I wasn't taking into account the direction of the points.
    Thanks for the help.
