Loestrin 20 side effects

I was on Yasmin for way over a year but it started to disagree with me badly. Doctor prescribed me loestrin 20. I've been taking it for just over 2 weeks but seem to be getting side effects from it. I've put on 4lb (no change in diet etc), get stomach cramps a lot and headaches.
Anyone else had any experience with loestrin and should I be concerned?

Contraceptives do have a few undesirable side effects, this is just down to how they work. Weight gain is a really common one. Headaches, cramps, nausea etc are temporary with some combination contraceptive pills.
I'd say keep going with the loestrin 20 for a few more weeks. If you don't see an improvement in the side effects go to the doctor & see if he/she can put on something else.
