How does it work? Do you have the graduation ceremony before the dissertation, which takes place in the summer?

You will only graduate after you get all your marks and have had them all confirmed. This can be over the summer or winter depending on the uni so check with yours.

On my course my Dissertation is due in mid- late August, then my graduation ceremony is in November 2017. Like the other poster said you won't be able to graduate until all your results are in otherwise people may graduate and then fail their dissertation

Just to say I loved my graduation for my masters - far preferred to it to my undergrad - felt like far more of an achievement.

I graduated after I had all my marks confirmed. Final hand in was December, I graduated in the April.
