Oh well done! I've got one soon and I'm really worried. What kind of questions did they ask you? -!: also do you know any current issues in education at the mo??

Thank you guys so much! Honestly try not to worry cause they are no trying to catch you out at all - it's not a competition, they just want to see your strengths/weaknesses to improve on... and they ask about typical questions like why you want to be a teacher etc & you could talk about any type of educational issue

For educational issues just look at the news section of the TES website, there'll be loads on there.

There isn't a deadline for PGCEs, although obviously the sooner you apply the better.

Don't you have to answer questions about the current issues in education in a written form? or do they ask you this in the interview?

I have one in march and I'm so scared myself x

The written task is based on an education issue (can pick from two) but you do need knowledge of education issues in depth in case of the interview... good luck you'll be fine

I got my place! I felt like it was quite easy. Hopefully I'll pass my QTS and see whoever else has got a place in primary education in September.

Tbh I scored 19/20 in mathematics, 15/20 in English and 14/20 in science. I think I got so low in science because there was a question on a circuit and I haven't drawn or put a circuit together since I was in year 6.

But there was a question on onomatopoeia in the English section. I stared for a whole five minutes at that question until it came to me! Ahaha
