I'm currently in year 11 and have finished my mock exams back in December achieving a and a* grades. My subjects are maths, further maths, english lit/Lang triple science, French, economics, Latin, food tech and history. The only problem is that I'm finding it difficult managing with the work and the stress of doing well. And on top of that I simply can't find a motivation. My whole secondary education I've only ever thought of studying biochemistry and oxford and that's what I want to do. I need to find a way to balance all of this out with what I do outside of school as well. Teachers at my school and websites say that you should study for 2-3 hours a day but I barely manage that. I can do 5+ hours at the weekend but solid repetitive revision with 5 minute breaks drains my energy entirely even while revising. I just need to find a way to succeed with the grades I want to do while maintaining other activities. I go to the gym 4 times a week as well and I don't really want to give that up as it acts as a strong stress relief. Can anyone with experience of top grades give me advice on doing this? I'm also on the 9-1 scale for maths and English and I'm hoping for an A^ in further maths
