Hey guys Im an international student in University of Leeds doing foundation at the moment, i recently missed my Math module exam and I am willing to submit the mitigating circumstances form to the foundation office. I am just worried that I wont be allowed a resit, not to mention that I need to get an ABB in foundation year so I can progress to Year 1. Any advice?

Mitigating circumstances need to be submitted before the exam as far as I'm aware. Have you checked that you can still submit them? If not then you may still be able to resit but your result may be capped.

Yes I checked and I could still submit them, although the medical evidence i provided them is a doctor note's from my home country in which my illness got worse when I came back to the UK a day before my exam, therefore I was not able to attend the exam, I am worried that this could affect me in passing the foundation year program. I really want to stay in this university.
