What grades are your controlled assessments?
And was this in both the reading and the listening?
And did you do foundation or higher?
I got a low E (listening) and a low B (iirc)(reading) in my French mocks. By the exam with very little work I got a high E and an A*(and still to this day have no clue how I did that)
I got a B overall, but it was my controlled assessments that let me down and that could have easily been an A.
So an E isn't an utter disaster. You can easily pull it up Don't worry

You can easily pull up your grade, don't worry at all. Ask your teachers if they have online resources and try and learn as much vocab as you can, that's really one of the best ways. You'll be fine. If in doubt, educated guesses and process of elimination will work if nothing else. Good luck.
