I am currently doing a degree in Psychology and I feel like I am failing! I have been slacking but I want to improve now and I'm not sure how

In my first semester I got roughly 55-80% - but I am now aware that these results will be seen in my transcript as I want to apply for masters... In one of my modules I got 54% overall, another 60% overall and one of them 84%- which will go down as I submitted one of the assignments late (I know stupid) and I'm waiting on results for one more module.

I cannot improve two of the modules (54% and the one I'm still waiting for) as they were only for one semester, whereas for the remaining 2 modules (stats/research methods and foundations) I still have some assignments and exams to do but even if I get a good grade in those I don't feel like it will improve my overall grade I have another two modules that I just started which I'm planning to achieve at least 80% in..

I am aware that the first year doesn't count but as I said, I will be applying for masters so they will only see results from the first two years.. I am so disappointed that I have been performing so badly! Should I repeat the year?

I know it may sound a bit overdramatic but I underperformed in my A Levels and my goal was to vastly improve at Uni (the Uni is not very prestige or anything either) as I eventually want to do GEM or ClinPsych! Help:ashamed2:
