can you get your maintenance loan early if you have to pay rent in advance

Hi, I was wondering if on your application for a maintenance loan you can request to receive your maintenance loan prior to term beginning? As I'm moving into second year in September i have four months rent due in August but I'm concerned i won't be able to pay then.

Hi,
It's not normally possible to have payments brought forward, unfortunately. However, if this will cause you financial hardship, you can apply to our Discretionary Payments team, who may be able to bring payments forward.
If you want to do this, give us a call, and we can arrange for the correct form to be sent.
