    Hi!
I'm currently in year 10 and seriously considering medicine as a university course. I have 1 A* predicted,5 A's and 2 B's. I have an A* A A is chemistry, Physics biology respected and an A in maths. I also plan on doing chem, bio ,phys and maths at a level and probably getting good grades ( mostly A and A*) I would like to know if I would fulfil the gcse academic requirements for doing medicine at an average uni.
    Thanks for your time!

You can certainly get into medicine but you need to choose your unis carefully and make sure to do well in other things like the UKCAT/BMAT. GSCE heavy unis like Oxford, Edinburgh, Nottingham, KCL etc are out of the question for you unfortunately. You should focus on doing well at school and getting some work experience for now. When it's time to look at where you want to apply you need to choose places that focus on the strengths of your application - for example, if you get a great UKCAT you should seriously consider Newcastle since I think that the UKCAT is the only criterion they use for shortlisting people for interview. Best of luck
