I follow the ccea gcse English language course and here is an outline: unit 1 (exam) available in higher & foundation unit 2 (exam) available in higher & foundation unit 3 controlled assessment and unit 4 controlled assessment.
For each controlled assessment unit there are three tasks:
Unit 3 (speaking & listening) task 1: individual presentation task 2: group discussion task 3: role play
Unit 4: task 1: study of spoken language task 2: study of written language task 3: creative writing
So, in June, my class and I done our creative writing task as part of unit 4, I received an A grade.
My teacher is making us do another creative writing piece for whatever reason I do not know but anyway, the fact is I got an A so isn't it stupid?
You could do as many creative writing pieces as you wanted to do but CCEA will only mark you on one as only one piece is required. I am
Going to tell my teacher that I refuse to do it for the reason listed above which is reasonable but I feel that I'm going to be made out as if I'm stupid and going against the rules.
When can you expect yours?
