Hi guys, so on going to apply for the NHS STP programme this year i learnt that Wales are actually going to have their own application process, separate from England unlike previous years! I've been informed via email that the Application Process for Wales will open in February , they are still planning the process! I asked about the aptitude tests and she said that they are trying to make the process similar to the English Process. I'll be applying for Biochemistry/ Neurophysiology

Hey guys! Does anyone know if you have to do any tests when applying like you do in the English programme? I'm going to be applying this year but think I have a better chance next year tbh as right now I have no lab experience except for uni

I'm currently completing the application and in the supporting information section I'm a bit confused by this question:

"Please confirm your preferred area of work?" - the options are 'recruitment', 'accounts payable', or 'both'. Does anyone understand this?!

There are only a few, it seems - If you click on the "additional information" on the right of the page describing the post on NHS jobs, it opens a word document with detailed information regarding the specialisms. On the last page there is a table with the available specialisms this year.

Just wondering if anyone here has heard back about interviews yet?

It said on the NHS jobs website that the interviews are planned for the 20th and 21st of this month (next week!!) - they aren't giving us much notice for travel arrangements etc. I'm just curious if everyone else is still waiting, or if I just haven't been shortlisted.
