    Your gcse's are fine, as long as they dont restrict you from doing your preferred alevels which i assume havent.

    Your English language gcse will most likely be a problem to quite a few uni's which ask for a B at least. However remember extra curriculars matter too, so make sure you're doing something outside of school. Also begin building up your work experience, try to get varied placements not just at a general practice.
