Questions to ask at interview for head of year( pastoral care manager)

I've been put on the student panel for interviewing our new student support manager. Their job is like a head of year and they provide all kinds of pastoral support to students in sixth form. We have been asked to come up with questions to ask them but I'm unsure on ideas.

Usually if you're on an interview panel you'll be given some questions to ask by the chair of the panel (they need to make sure the questions for every applicant are similar to make sure the process is fair). Speak to them and ask what sorts of things they're expecting you to ask.

If you're stuck then come up with some scenarios for why students might need help from this person and ask them what they'd do in those scenarios.
