I am in my second year at college and I am currently doing an EPQ, and when I say 'doing an EPQ' I mean it's on my UCAS form but I haven't started yet.

I know I want to do it on the effects of technologies in medicine, but feel like I need to crack on and narrow it down. I know if I don't start soon I'll find myself with too much to do with not enough time. Can anyone help me get myself together and advise me in how to begin??

    Thanks

Choose one technological advancement and focus on that; remember 5000 words isn't that many. Perhaps the Iron Lung, Forceps, or antibiotics (for example)? You can discuss the benefits, possible downsides (like overuse and resistance for antibiotics), history, etc.
