So im going to Uni in Bristol next year (not actually Bristol Uni but what ever)
I don't live too far away, I live in Weston and it takes about 50 minutes to travel by bus, i'm doing a media/film course and don't know if I should move into Bristol or not, the course could be quite full on and I would be much closer to the University but is it worth it???

Social, independence and all that, is it worth it?

It's expensive, but would probably be a lot easier. A 50 minute commute would get old pretty quickly. You'll likely find it easier to make friends and meet new people if you do move into halls, but as you still live relatively close you could try and make friends on your course and join societies and still be able to see people. It really depends on what is right for you
