So Im hoping to become a primary school teacher but at the moment im torn between 2 uni courses which are BA primary education studies and BA early childhood studies. Neither of those come with QTS so i would need to do a PGCE afterwards.

Primary education studies seems really intersting and the subject knowledge moduals can really help me with the PGCE but at the same time it seems pointless because i might as well do a BEd primary education with QTS course. Early childhood studies is quite broad and will look good as i want to work with the younger ones but it doesnt have any subject knowledge moduals.

Im just wondering which course do you think is better and if i was to teach abroad one day which will look better.

I would say do which one you think you'll enjoy more as you're more likely to get a higher graded degree. If you want to specialise into early years then that'd seem suited to you?Have you tried looking at exactly what you'd study? I'm just guessing though😬😬

Have you considered looking at joint honours? My aunty is currently doing a joint honours in early childhood studies and primary education at Roehampton. She chose that course in particular, because it then allowed for her to work out what she prefers and specialise in her final year (which she's doing now).

It honestly depends on what age range of children you would prefer working with
