Um. My dog does all that and more..
I'm sorry, but I've never seen a dog chase down a tiny mouse that basically runs at the speed of light. Cats are built for this kind of thing, mine was practically on the walls and ceilings catching one. (Not a mouse, ahahahha. a gecko)

My dogs a Jack Russell, a breed literally known for its hunting of mice and rats. I imagine when your cat catches it's prey it toys with it as well, whereas a dog would actually kill it instantly instead of prolonging it's death.

Hahaha it does actually, quite disturbing.

Sorry, but I'm still siding with cats. Dogs are way too obnoxious for me.

An obnoxious animal that is used to help the disabled.... Doesn't seem right..

You're making it sound like all dogs help the disabled..

The ones that do are trained to. Trained to not be obnoxious

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by obnoxious? How is an animal that gives out so much love and protection obnoxious? Surely in any scenario, a cat is more "obnoxious" than a dog.

By obnoxious I mean, overtly affectionate and needy and dependent.

I absolutely love dogs btw. They were big during my childhood. I still love them. It's just that ever since I got cats I feel they appeal more to my nature. It depends on the person's personality really.

I understand that. Sorry, I get pretty protective over dogs in general. Didn't mean to seem aggressive

Jack Russells are intelligent. They can literally do maths. Basic addition and subtraction that is.

Of course. That's why they're used in films so much
