I am currently really confused and lost on what to do career wise. I have a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience. My dream job is to be involved in the research and development of drugs for people with neurodegenerative diseases and psychological disorders. So I have been looking for jobs in the pharmaceutical industry and research organisations but have come up empty. I also have some experience in pharmaceutical drug research but it is more biological and not really related to my ideal role. Does anyone have any ideas on any jobs that fall within this area. Anything remotely related is welcome as I'm just desperate to get my foot into this area somehow!

Sorry I'm a bit confused. You have experience with pharma drug research and want to work in drug research and development but don't think biology and your experience is relevant? How so? And you drew a blank with looking for pharma jobs because you didn't get one or couldn't find any to apply for?
Why not look for research assistant or technician jobs in both academia and pharma? Places like New Scientist and Nature are good to search. You only have an MSc so you will need a PhD do progress and will definitely have to start at the bottom (so lose the idea of landing your dream job straight away!). As you gain experience you will be able to steer your career a bit more.
