    [RESOLVED]

    Hi guys,

I have had my ASUS laptop for a few months now, and I've never had this problem before. When I plug in my headphones, the sound comes out of the laptop speakers instead of the headphones, and if I go into Control Panel it says that I have no headphones plugged in. This wasn't happening yesterday, and the same thing happens when I try plugging in earphones as well. I've also noticed that the sound from the speakers is a little fuzzy and quieter than usual, and it wasn't like that before.

Any input on what could've caused these issues and how I can fix them would be greatly appreciated!

Blow into the socket to get anything out as something might be obstructing the connection.

    Np. Oh...
Try plugging the earphones in then twist it around and see if the sound starts coming in a certain position.
