Normally, if you want to change modules or similar, it has to be in the first few weeks. Otherwise I think you have to wait and switch the next year (as in in place of your second year)

    Hello,

As a previous poster has said, normally changing courses has to be done within the first couple of weeks. It is unheard of to change course after your first semester but it can be done. It depends what course you want to move too and what work you have missed and what you'd have to do to catch up. Best thing to do is speak to student support and the lecturer of the course and see what they say.

    Depends on your uni.

My department purposely designs a raft of degrees to have a common first year. This means that students can switch courses with no problem, right up to the start of the second year. It's just a bit of admin.

    Ask your course leader.
