After reading online, it sounds like Warwick has a poor night life. I'm interested in going there but I want to enjoy my years at Uni. For anyone who goes there, is this true or has it been exaggerated?

The nightlife is ok, there's a few bars, pubs and restaurants on campus as well as the Copper Rooms where Pop is held every Wednesday. I don't club myself but I hear it's a bit naff, most people venture out into Coventry and Leamington Spa for clubbing and such. Overall it isn't terrible and you'll find something to enjoy.

The nightlife is awful here not going to lie. Theres really not much to do there except smoke up and drink in the one student bar they have on campus, which is usually pretty empty.
The club scene in Leamington isn't too bad, but after you've spent money on a taxi there and entry to a club, you've already spent £15, which adds up if you go a couple times a week. Don't even get me started on copper rooms; I've only been twice, but both times it's been dog ****, basically has the same atmosphere as a year 6 school disco.
If you're looking at Warwick i'm guessing your grades are pretty good, so i'd suggest maybe looking at Bristol, Manchester, Leeds or Nottingham if you care about night life at all. Basically anywhere but here.
I'm coming to the end of my second year here and honestly, if i was to do it again, i wouldn't put Warwick down on my options, its not worth sacrificing a good time for the sake of a 'good' degree.

Uni express is a good option though for Kasbah if you want to try it. Copper rooms is notoriously crap, but that is why people like it.
