Fiction isn't true, but what if a work of fiction is based on truth, does this mean it is still fiction or does it become factual?
What are some examples of fiction?

examples of fiction that depict actual events or any fiction in general?

Fictional part is the story. If the story pertains some falsehood to it, then yes, still fiction. There may be various stories based on real events which only names are changed for protection.

Even if the work of fiction is based on truth, it will still be fiction.

Exactly this. If some of the event is fictionalized, it's still fictional by definition!

Yes, but there are some fiction that is not based on anything and I wanted to rule these out. But perhaps all forms of fiction carry even the slightest part of reality.
