Zero experience international stoodent - looking for-part time work watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi everybody. I'm a first year student in Birmingham.
I haven't ever had a proper job before(wage in Romania for part-time is incredibly crap), and I just got my national insurance number and thought that i could work something in my spare time(like 20hrs a week or so).

I thought of Muji, Zara, New Look and similar stuff but I don't know if they take anyone without experience, especially internationals. I study Graphic Design and sold some designs for over 100£, but i'm pretty scared that noone will take me for a real job.

You have to just give it a go! Most places in uni towns will be willing to give students jobs as long as you're willing to work hard and be flexible. Lost of students don't have experience but you learn as you go. Get a CV ready and start looking but be prepared for rejection-it is hard but don't take it personally. Pick yourself up and carry on. Good luck!
