We are two undergraduate students from the University of Exeter, who are conducting important research investigating the impacts of stigma amongst gay men as part of our final year project. Our project is being supervised by Dr David Doyle, a research leader in the area of stigma and sexual minorities.
The completion of the research will add to the growing literature surrounding this ever-present issue, help combat the negative effects of stigma towards gay men, as well as potentially being used to develop preventative measures to protect individuals from the negative effects of stigma and prejudice. However, in order for this to happen we need people to participate, people who are male, over the age of 18, identify as homosexual and are currently in a romantic relationship.
We would be extremely grateful if anyone who meets the above criteria would be willing to complete our short (aprox 10min) survey (copy and paste the following link … https://exetercles.eu.qualtrics.com/...CE7tQwZZdIN4FL). We need to recruit enough participants for the research to be significant and hopefully make an impact in reducing the negative consequences of stigma. Not only will your participation help combat the negative effects of stigma and prejudice, but you will also have the chance to win one or two £50 amazon vouchers!
