I'm a 17 year old girl but everyone thinks I'm at least 20. Even when I was 13/14 people thought I was 18 and I'm not really sure why?? I'm tall but not above average or anything (I'm 5"8) and I don't really wear that much makeup, just concealer under my eyes, powder, mascara, and sometimes eyeshadow. I've stopped wearing heels now because I think that was making me seem older but I usually just wear skirts or jeans and a nice top or t-shirt. Why do people think I'm older?!

Ponytails is actually a good solution. Or just stop whining and deal with it

A straight full fringe makes you look younger as well as no makeup. Id say makeup is the biggest thing that changes how old you look

Its probably a number of things, like your facial structure or eye shapes etc.. that you cant change. Maybe your hairstyle/cut also, for example shorter hair makes some people look older etc.

Honestly I look 11 even with makeup and I'd totally swap with you.
