I only have 4 sandwiches, a bag of crisps, and a chocolate bar.

How can I cut down for my diet and not get hungry?

    This is an unanswerable question.

If you're mining coal for a living, then 700 calories for lunch is grossly inadequate. If you're a little old lady sat in a chair all morning, then 700 calories is way over the top.

Making lots of assumptions, if you're a young(ish) man of average build and activity levels, then you might need 2,500-2,750Kcal a day for energy balance. Dividing that into three meals and a couple of snacks would mean 700kCal is perfectly fine for a lunch. BUT I'd be far more concerned about the food choices than the energy value - sandwiches, crisps and chocolates do not a healthy lunch make!

Usually 200 calories of chicken and veg, or about a 500 calorie bowl of Tagliatelle.
