I had blood tests because just lately I've been experiencing quite a few dizzy spells as well as easily bruising and thinning hair...
I got a letter back saying its been suggested I have more tests done and now I'm worried. my results attached to it also said I have a low MCV which leads to iron deficiency?
Should I be worried and why am I being asked to drink a pint of water before I have further blood tests?

Don't worry, it sounds like it may be anemia whichh is kind of common - you'll just have to tale iron tablets everyday try eating foods rich in iron like red meat etc good luck

Being hydrated can help with drawing blood and making it easier to get enough blood. nothing to worry about.
