    Hey all,

I was just wondering if there was anybody who's applied for university using qualifications different from A-levels; such as BTECs and more. If so, what do you study, what have you applied to study and where?

Lots of people in the Mature Students forum are doing / have used alternative qualifications to get into university (look in the 2017 applicants thread to see where people have applied). Most people without A levels do Access to HE courses, but others do Foundation Years or Open University credits. Why do you ask?

Hey, thank you for the reply. I was just wondering because I've applied with BTECS myself as opposed to A-levels

I'm applying with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.

Accepted into 4 unis, rejected from one (based on GCSE grades).

BTEC's are fine, as long as you get good enough grades.

I've applied with a HNC. Got one offer so far.

I also got third year entry to UWS in 2014 with a HND. Received four offers that year. The place that rejected me was due to not accepting third year entrants.
