Term dates change 2017/2018

Hi I've noticed the term dates for most universities have changed and now ending mid June some even to August, what will this mean in terms of how we get paid? Normally I finish uni for the year at the end of May and support myself finianitally over the summer but how can I do this if I'm at uni til August?

Your payments will have been based on the information your university provided about their term dates to the SLC/SFE

If you're required to attend university for a longer period then usually your payments will be increased. Speak to your university to make sure you're not misinterpreting the dates they've given you.
