# Another question about logarithms watch

1. It has come clear to me that my math textbook isn't going to tell me anything about logarithms. It's just skipping over it for some reason. SO can someone please solve these and show me the steps of how you got the answers.

The question is:"Express the following in terms of log x." and the following would be the question: a) log x(to the power of 2), b) log x(to the power of 5) - 2 log x
